What areas do you cover for driving lessons?

We deliver driving lessons in Sunderland, Washington, Penshaw, Shiney Row, Cleadon, Boldon, Murton, Seaham, Whitburn and surrounding areas.

Do you do the fast pass driving lessons?

We do fast pass lessons (crash course, intensive driving lessons) but unlike other driving schools we do not charge more for a fast pass driving course so they can still take advantage of our cheapest prices.

Do your fast pass driving courses include a driving test?

You can include a driving test in with the fast pass block booking.

Do Teendrive have a high pass rate?

The Teendrive instructors collectively have one of the highest pass rates in the area with most of our pupils passing first time and because of this most of our work comes from recommendations.

How many lessons will I need to pass my driving test?

Everyone learns at different rates we have had pupils pass in the region of 20 hours and others taking a lot more. According to the Driving Standards Agency the national average of driving tuition required to pass a driving test is around 45 hours of professional tuition with a driving instructor and 22 hours of private practice with a family member of friend. When we did our own research, we found with Teendrive our average pupil took less than this timescale due to the progressive way we teach and our excellent first-time pass rate.

Do I need to pass my theory test before I can start driving lessons?

You do not need to pass your theory test before you start taking driving lessons but we would always recommend starting your theory as soon as possible as you can not put in for your driving test until you pass your theory test.

How much are your driving lessons?

Our driving lessons start from £16 per hour for our beginner’s block bookings and we have various block bookings available including our fast pass block bookings.

How often should I take driving lessons?

We recommend at least 1 driving lesson a week but the more lessons you take the quicker you will pass your driving test.
