Young Driver Experience

in Sunderland

drive-from-the-age-of-14

The purpose of under 17 driving lessons is to instil safe driving practices in pre driving age pupils as when a young drivers course was introduced into Sweden it helped reduce accidents among young drivers by over 30% as the main reason cited for the high rate of road traffic accidents among young drivers is a lack of experience. Our aim at Teendrive is to give young people a life saving skill from a younger age.

Why Teendrive Young Drivers Lessons?

Teendrive deliver the under 17 driving experience in a safe legal environment as some Driving Schools deliver these lessons illegally risking the young persons future driving license and safety and they are not insured for this purpose.

  • Teendrive is the original young drivers experience.
  • Our pre 17 experience was featured on BBCs Dragons Den
  • We teach from aged 14
  • All of our instructors are CRB checked and all our young drivers’ lessons take place in dual controlled cars by DVSA approved instructors

The Teendrive under 17 driving lessons are delivered from the SAFC Stadium of Light.

What will the young drivers learn?

The young drivers will be taught the same as if they were taking the driving lessons once they are aged from 17 on the road the difference been that they are been taught in a safe controlled environment. The whole lesson takes place in the car and generally if with someone with no driving experience they will be driving within 5 minutes.

“My daughter really enjoyed driving. It's a fabulous way of introducing teens to learning to drive in a safe place. I would recommend it.”

Karen Kirkwood:

“Absolutely brilliant! Demi thoroughly enjoyed her very first driving experience. Thank you so much”

Clair Wardle:

“I purchase lessons for my 16 year old daughter to prepare her for when she can take lessons on the road at 17. Teen drive is fantastic, and she thoroughly enjoyed it, she can’t wait for her next lesson”

Joe & Elaine:

“Excellent concept to teach driving from 14 year old. My son has had two lessons so far and is enjoying it so much. These lessons will put him in a much stronger position to get his test passed as soon as possible once he turns 17”

Dave Grundy:

“We Had our 15 year old Shay at Sunderland today for his first lesson he absolutely loved it he spoke very highly of his instructor on the way home and can’t wait for his next lesson, I would highly recommend teendrive to anyone”
