  • How long does it take to complete the training to become a Driving Instructor?

    The training can take around 4 months to get on the road earning money.

  • Do you offer a Fast Track Training Course?

    Yes, we offer a Fast Track option where you can be on teaching with *4-6 weeks and this course is the same price as the standard ADI course.


  • I have only passed my driving test in an automatic car can I become a driving instructor?

    Yes, but you can only teach automatic driving lessons.

  • How much are the three instructor tests?

  • Can I do my driver instructor course around my current job?

    We will deliver the training to suit your availability.

  • How much can I earn as a driving instructor?

    With the current hourly rate for instructors been around £30 a hour the average instructor earns around £60,000 Gross a year. 

  • Are Driving Instructors self-employed?

    Our driving instructors are all self-employed.

  • Do I get Franchise Free weeks?

    Our Instructor’s receive 4 weeks Free franchise weeks over the course of 12 months.

  • Do I need my own car to become a driving instructor?

    Yes, and your car will need to be modified to have dual controls fitted.

  • What qualities make a good driving instructor?

    The qualities needed to make a good driving instructor are patience, good communications skills and been able to adapt the driving lessons to suit the pupils needs. Been always professional, arriving on time, been in a clean car and be of smart appearance.
